Daniel Sosnov 1973 - 2021

It is with deep sadness that we mourn the passing of Daniel Sosnov, who died on 31st July 2021 whilst on holiday with his family in Israel.

Dan has been a mainstay of the ZFW Fencing Club since its inception and has been a constant source of strength and support to Ziemek and the other coaches throughout. He was a regular fixture at club sessions and, having been an international fencer himself, would often lend his support to strip-coach our young warriors at competitions across the country and abroad. His kindness, thoughtfulness and great sense of humour set him apart and he will be deeply missed.

Dan was devoted to his family and leaves behind wife Sheryl, our Club-Coordinator, and children David and Claire. They are in our thoughts.
