Michael was a member of the Polish National Team for 12 years, representing Poland at World and European Championships.  During his 18 years fencing career he was multiple national cadet, junior and U23 champion getting to the top of the podium for both Individual and Team Senior Nationals in 2016.

After finishing studies at Gdansk University of Physical Education and Sport in the field of Olympic Sport with coaching specialization and acquiring the Polish Fencing Federation coaching degree, Michal began work at Gdansk Fencing School. 

 

Throughout 6 years  working as a teacher and coach he built up his knowledge and unique coaching style.
 
Michael is a full-time ZFW coach working on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at the club and Leon Paul Fencing Centre and he also teaches at many schools across London.
